About This Project
For centuries the Alexander Smith Carpet Mill campus in Yonkers, N.Y. turned out beautiful woven carpet products. After closing down, the buildings were converted into loft spaces for local industry. When fire ripped through this heavy timber structure, Casella’s experience with such buildings proved invaluable to the owner in settling his claim with the insurance company.
